FARM ACTIVITIES

Avalon station offers adventure farm tours (seasonal dependant) these are small and personalised tours with a maximum of 6 people at $80.00 per adult $40.00 for children 12 years and under, infants 0 – 3 years are free. This is a 4WD tour conducted by Quentin outlining the history of the property and the surrounding areas whilst taking in the many sights over the farm.  You will wind your way up the Pisa range to experience the breathtaking views of the Cardrona Valley and Wanaka. With a view from the top you will be offered a traditional kiwi morning or afternoon tea with scones and muffins before driving back down to the woolshed where there will be a demonstration with the working dogs and sheep and a chance for you to get up close and experience farm life.  The tour is approximately 3 hours.
